I've been in and out of bands for years playing and singing in other folks projects and just had my first rehearsal for my own music finally. Comparing your advice to what I just did in rehearsal makes me cringe a little at how my first rehearsal went but now I know where to go from here. All my music is original and I see that I'm going to have to have good structure to my ideas beginning to end to maximize my potential for great music.
